B&F Teams

Our Teams

  • The Investment Team is a 10-week experience designed to give students real-world asset management experience. With an onchain fund of over $100k AUM, we pitch and manage positions to generate a return. Team members will provide technical analysis, intrinsic valuation, competitive analysis, and investment pitches to the Collab+Currency VC. We will also conduct deeper research into various DeFi protocols in collaboration with Artemis.

  • This semester, we’re working with EigenCloud, the leading player in Ethereum’s new restaking economy, which now secures over $25 billion in staked assets. We’ll be building a decentralized service that blends finance, AI, and distributed systems - hands-on work that demands stitching together multiple components and thinking hard about incentives and usability. What makes this project unique is that we’re not doing it alone: we’re receiving direct support from the EigenCloud team and will be working closely with them to co-develop a product. As a team, we’ve tackled full-stack applications and cross-chain identity tools in past semesters (Microsoft, QuickNode), and now we’re bringing that experience into EigenCloud to explore how restaking can power the next generation of financial and AI-driven infrastructure.

  • This semester, our team will collaborate with Coinbase product managers to ideate and develop a new product concept from the ground up. As part of this process, we’ll create key documentation such as Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) and Test-Driven Documents (TDDs), alongside other steps in the product development cycle. In past collaborations, we’ve worked on initiatives including Coinbase Wallet’s loyalty program and applications for the decentralized social platform Farcaster. The team will also receive mentorship from full-time Coinbase employees to recruit into Coinbase.

  • The Mentorship Program is an intensive 10-week experience designed for freshmen students to provide a comprehensive introduction to blockchain and DeFi. Mentees gain practical skills and knowledge through weekly workshops, project-based learning, and one-on-one mentorship. The program concludes with a capstone project, where mentees collaborate with one of the teams.
